And for this Better Days would like to say a big Thank You to all.
Who Are We
Better Days are a small group of people, made up of relatives of, friends of and people that have experienced, or are experiencing any mental wellbeing issues, including but not limited to, anxiety, panic attacks, depression etc. Better Days are in no way mental health professionals, but do believe we have life experiences that hopefully could be of help and support to others. Better Days are also proud to be an affiliated organisation of: Selby District Association of Voluntary Services, who are a fully registered UK charity. Selby AVS are a registered charity working in partnership with others for the benefit of our community.
Why Are We Here
To provide a stigma free and non judgemental communal environment, where people from all walks of life can come together to seek or offer support, guidance, information and advice on any mental wellbeing issues. Better Days would like to welcome anybody and everybody to the online community, where Better Days believes that we all have something to offer. So even if you are not going through any mental wellbeing issues yourself, you can offer support, information, encouragement, friendship and even fun and inspiration to others.
Fun Is The Difference
Better Days believe that fun has an important role to play peoples lives, and even if fun may not solve your problems, you can at least hope to escape them for a while, and enjoy a little breathing space. That is why Better Days have a lighter aspect to parts of the forum, which include fun topics, quizzes and an achievements area. Come on in and take a look, everybody's welcome to join the Better Days forums.
The Future
Better Days are working and progressing towards becoming a registered charity in the future. Better Days are continually working towards creating a non stigmatised and non judgemental online support community which Better Days will continue to support in the future, so that people from all walks of life can get involved and benefit from information, guidance, advice, and encouragement within the forums to assist people in everyday life. Better days are active in fundraising towards mental wellbeing projects and now have our own online store, the main aim of the store is to fundraise for mental wellbeing. Better Days hope to have the opportunity to network with other charities in the future, and any profits raised by Better Days will be put to good use either supporting a Better Days own project or donated to other charities in support of their good work.
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Better Days website and online store.
Thanks, the Better Days team.
